Kerry delivered a dominant performance to defeat Mayo 2-29 to 0-19, showcasing their attacking firepower in a commanding victory. Attacking powerhouses Sean O’Shea, David Clifford and Dylan Geaney contributed 2-23 of Kerry’s total between them.
Armagh took a major step towards Division 1 safety with their win over Dublin, having trailed by 11 points at one stage. Dublin had been cruising before a second half comeback, capped by Oisín Conaty’s goal to claim the points.
Roscommon handed Donegal their first loss of the league season in an impressive performance. Enda Smith was the standout performer for the Connacht side, scoring 0-6 from play and orchestrating the attack for Roscommon.
Galway sealed Monaghan’s fate by condemning them to Division 2 for next season. In a must win game, the Ulster side battled hard but couldn’t find enough to defeat the Tribesmen who edged closer to their own safety.

Louth secured a narrow but impressive 1-19 to 0-18 victory over Derry in a tightly fought contest. A crucial goal proved the difference as Louth held firm in the closing stages to claim the win.
Cork delivered a strong attacking performance to defeat Kildare 1-31 to 2-19, keeping the scoreboard ticking throughout in an entertaining encounter. Meath also impressed, edging Tyrone 3-24 to 2-22 in a dramatic clash where their three goals ultimately proved decisive.
Cavan claimed a crucial win over Offaly in a relegation battle, seeing the Faithful County relegated to Division 3. A late 2 point score from Ryan Donoghue gave Cavan the lead, although many Offaly players disputed the score.

Down continued their strong campaign with an impressive victory over Sligo, a result that secures promotion for the Ulster side. A tally of 1-10 from talisman Pat Havern was the standout display in the game.
Westmeath turned in a ruthless performance to defeat Limerick, finishing with 4 goals they looked in top form in their bid for promotion. With scorers popping up all over the team, wing back Ronan Wallace contributed 1-04 to his sides tally.
Wexford came out on top in a dramatic encounter against Clare, winning 2-17 to 1-23 in a high-scoring clash that went right to the wire. Wexford led by 10 points early on, before a second half rally from the Banner almost caused an upset.
Fermanagh gained their first win of the season at home to Laois, a strong performance for the Ulster side which will give them confidence heading towards championship.

Antrim produced one of the standout performances of the round, powering past Waterford 4-18 to 0-11 with an impressive win. Despite losing their first 3 games, the Saffron men have made it 3 in a row and well in contention for promotion.
Leitrim also impressed with a convincing 3-19 to 1-13 victory over Longford, Gavin McReynolds and Barry McNulty got the goals in a great team performance.
London defeated Carlow in a closely fought game, substitute Liam Murphy’s goal proved vital in London claiming the points.
Wicklow added their name to the potential candidates for promotion with a decisive win over Tipperary at home. Division 4 will be an exciting finish next weekend, with only 2 points separating teams from 1st to 7th in the table.

Bohemians claimed a1-0 win over Galway united at Dalymount Park, a late header from former Galway United player Patrick Hickey kept Bohs’ unbeaten record alive.
Shelbourne also picked up a valuable win on the road, defeating Derry City 2-1 in an entertaining clash. An unfortunate rebound on the goal line set up an easy finish for Dan Kelly to earn his side all 3 points.

Six Nations Rugby
Ireland ended their Six Nations campaign on a high with a convincing 43–21 victory over Scotland at the Aviva, sealing the Triple Crown in front of their home support. Andy Farrell’s side led throughout the contest, responding quickly to Scotland’s three tries to maintain control and extend their winning run in the fixture to 12 matches. Later that day Ireland were narrowly denied the championship as France edged past England in a dramatic finale to retain the title.
