All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Finals

Mayo booked their place in the All-Ireland semi-finals with an assured five-point victory over Cork at Croke Park. Andy Moran's boasted their youth with Darragh Beirne and Kobe McDonald stepping up in the biggest game of their young careers. They will have the chance to reach their first final since 2021 when they take on Louth in two weeks’ time.

Kerry survived a huge test from Tyrone to keep their Sam Maguire defence alive in one of the games of the championship. Darren McCurry inspired a remarkable second-half comeback from the Red Hands, scoring 10 points after emerging from the bench. Dylan Geaney continued his red hot form from the club championship, scoring 8 points from play in a man of the match performance.

Louth produced an inspired performance to reach their first All-Ireland semi-final since 1957 despite playing almost the entire contest with 14 men. Both sides traded scores in a tight contest but the influence of Ciarán Byrne (0-3) from the bench swung the tie in the Wee County’s favour, setting up a semi final clash with Mayo.

Dublin upset many doubters by defeating Galway to reach the All-Ireland semi-final. Galway looked to be in control entering the final quarter after John Maher's goal opened daylight between the sides, but the momentum shifted after Con O’Callaghan’s penalty was converted. Niall Scully showed his experience late in the game, scoring a two pointer to see his side through.

Mayo 0-23 | 0-18 Cork
Kerry 2-25 | 0-27 Tyrone
Louth 0-27 | 2-18 Monaghan
Dublin 1-25 | 1-21 Galway

The Candystripes controlled much of the contest to claim another important three points in their push up the table.

Shamrock Rovers strengthened their grip at the top of the Premier Division with a convincing 3-1 win over Galway United at Tallaght Stadium. Galway grabbed a consolation through Frantz Pierrot in stoppage time, but Rovers were comfortable winners as they continued their impressive run of form.
