Division 1
Galway edged a thriller against Armagh, with their clinical finishing proving decisive in a high-scoring contest. The Tribesmen’s three goals made the difference as they withstood a strong Armagh challenge to come away with the points.
Donegal continued their impressive start with a powerful display against Kerry, combining intensity and pace to outgun last year’s All-Ireland champions. Despite the Kingdom missing a few starters, Donegal will take the positives from a good performance.
Mayo maintained their momentum under Andy Moran, getting the better of Dublin in an entertaining clash. Moran’s side seem to have blended attacking creativity with solid defensive structure in their impressive league start.
Roscommon completed the round with a statement win over Monaghan, making full use of their goal chances to pull clear. Sharp attacking play and a ruthless edge in front of goal saw them claim a deserved victory and cap off an entertaining Division 1 weekend.

Division 2
Division 2 delivered some great games and interesting results, Derry got the better of Ulster neighbours Tyrone to claim their first league win since the 2024 Division 1 Final.
Kildare showed ruthless intent in front of goal to defeat Offaly, gaining their first win of the campaign following their draw against Tyrone last weekend.
Cork made it two wins from two, claiming all the points from their trip to Louth. Helped by St Finbarr’s forward Steven Sherlock being back in the starting team, landing 0-8 to help the rebels to victory.
Meath surged to take the spoils against Cavan at Breffni Park to make it an unbeaten start for the Royals. Crucial late scores from Jack Flynn and Jordan Morris secured the victory in a tense game, Cavan narrowly miss out on victory for the second week in a row.

Division 3
Down edged past an impressive Limerick team who looked set to cause an upset, Shane Annetts converted a late free to give the Mourne men an away win.
Wexford continued their impressive start in Division 3 with a dominant display against Laois, an exhibition of free-taking from goalkeeper Darragh Brooks cemented the victory.
Westmeath looked impressive in their victory against Clare in an entertaining, high-scoring encounter. A late goal from Ronan Wallace sealed the win for his side.
Sligo turned on the style to see off Fermanagh, veteran Niall Murphy top scored with 1-04 over the contest.

Division 4
Division 4 offered plenty of drama, including early pacesetters and teams needing a win as the weeks roll on.
Carlow were impressive to see off Wicklow, although had a scare late in the game when Wicklow’s goal was ruled out.
Leitrim claimed a hard-earned victory over Waterford, last years Division 3 side getting their promotion hopes back on track.
London showed too much class to get over Longford at Pearse Park, an impressive team display with scores being well distributed throughout their team was enough to maintain their unbeaten start.
Tipperary celebrated a big win over Antrim at Moneygall, in a tight contest, Tipperary made a late surge to see off the 13 players of Antrim after John Carron and Pat Shivers were dismissed.

Division 1A
The National Hurling League brought plenty of action, with entertaining games and major upsets. Galway and Cork produced a lively encounter with Cork edging it with late goals from substitute Brian Hayes. Tipperary laid down a serious marker against Offaly, producing a ruthless 5 goal display, led by Jason Forde who finished with a personal tally of 3-10. Waterford bounced back from a heavy defeat to the Rebels last weekend to upset Munster rivals Limerick. The Deise showed incredible work rate and hunger to hand the Shannonsiders a defeat in their first league game.

Division 1B
Dublin powered past Kildare with a commanding performance, enhanced by a brace from Ronan Hayes to bounce back from their defeat to Clare last week.
Clare produced a ruthless attacking display against Antrim, overwhelming the Saffron players who fought hard throughout. Mark Rodgers starred, finishing with a tally of 0-12, 0-5 of that tally coming from open play.
Down welcomed Wexford to Ballycran and almost cause a major upset but were narrowly defeated through a late Conor Hearne point. Despite two early scares from Down and Antrim, Wexford maintain their unbeaten start to Division 1B.

Division 2
Laois have maintained their impressive start to Division 2, with a 10-point win over a spirited Derry team.
London looked to have picked up their first win of the year, when Mayo rallied back in the second half to snatch a much-needed point in Ruislip.
Kerry fought to a draw with Westmeath at home, coming off a first round win, the Kingdom battled hard but couldn’t clinch the win over a Westmeath side playing their first game of the campaign.

Division 3
Donegal ran riot against Fermanagh, showing off a sharp and clinical brand of hurling to put Fermanagh away.
Tyrone proved too strong for Louth, with their ability to find the net at key moments making the difference. A disciplined performance and clinical edge saw them pull clear in the second half.
Wicklow rounded off the round with a commanding win over Armagh, edging them closer to Donegal in the race for promotion.

Division 4
Sligo impressed with a strong away performance against Leitrim, a huge scoring berth from the O’Kelly- Lynch brothers Robert and Gerard, who landed 2-13 between them.
Longford edged a close battle with Cavan, holding their nerve in the closing stages. Both sides were evenly matched throughout before Longford found the scores they needed to see it out.
Monaghan came out on top against Lancashire in an entertaining contest. The difference in the sides was undoubtedly Niall Arthur, who contributed 0-15, with 0-7 coming from open play.

Derry City made an early statement as they opened their 2026 season by defeating Shamrock Rovers 1–0 to lift the President’s Cup at Tallaght Stadium. A composed first-half finish from Darragh Markey, set up by James McClean after a short corner, proved decisive in the season’s curtain-raiser. Derry’s new signings proved decisive in the game, which will please boss Tiernan Lynch as they start on a positive note.
