The Sultana Bran Hockey One League puts Hockey fans first, with a new concept, new format, new club identities and, for the first time ever, new access for fans, with matches streamed live. It’s Real Hockey, Re-Imagined.
Hockey One starts this weekend, 29 September, with the best of the best playing each other in a fast paced game played across all Australia’s capital cities. Seven women’s teams, seven men’s teams. The cream of Australian hockey featuring Australia's best players, including players from national teams the Kookaburras (men) and Hockeyroos (women).
Seven New Hockey Teams
The teams are Adelaide Fire, Brisbane Blaze, Canberra Chill, Hockey Club Melbourne, NSW Pride, Perth Thundersticks, and Tassie Tigers.
The schedule features a 49-day season with 21 double header home and away event days
