Cork stunned Donegal in Ballybofey to book a direct place in the All-Ireland quarter-finals. Trailing by seven points early in the second half, the Rebels looked to be heading for Round 3, but a remarkable turnaround powered by a series of two-point scores transformed the contest. Steven Sherlock led the charge as Cork completed a famous comeback to send Donegal to Round 3.
Louth followed Corks lead with a famous upset over Armagh in Inniskeen. Trailing by 2 points with the game entering its final seconds, Sam Mulroy launched one last delivery into the square and Armagh goalkeeper Ethan Rafferty could only turn the ball into his own net. The extraordinary finish secured Louth's place in the quarter-finals and added another major scalp to their growing football championship story.
Galway survived a fierce Westmeath challenge to claim victory in a high-scoring encounter at Pearse Stadium. The Tribesmen built their platform through three well-taken goals despite the Leinster champions making a late rally.
Tyrone snatched victory from Mayo's grasp in an enthralling battle that went right to the wire. Darren McCurry make a memorable appearance from the bench scoring 0-6 to close the gap on Mayo. With the game entering the final seconds, Niall Morgan landed a huge 2 point free to guide his side through to the quarter finals.

Monaghan booked their place in Round 3 with a comfortable victory over Roscommon in Clones. A goal from Stephen Mooney followed by a 2 pointer from Jack McCarron before the break gave Monaghan the momentum to push on, with Vinny Corey's side finishing strongly to secure a deserved win and keep their championship ambitions alive.
Kerry got back to winning ways with an emphatic win over Kildare in Newbridge. After a disappointing start to the All-Ireland series, Jack O'Connor's men arrived with a point to prove and delivered a ruthless attacking display. An 8 point half time lead was further complimented by 3 second half goals to see off the Lilywhites.
Meath produced a powerful second-half display to end Derry's championship campaign at Celtic Park. The hosts enjoyed periods of control during the opening half, but Meath gradually found their rhythm after the interval. A sustained spell of attacking football saw Robbie Brennan's side overturn the deficit and move ahead, with Derry unable to respond.
Dublin kept their season alive with a commanding second-half performance against Cavan. The Breffni men stayed firmly in contention during a competitive opening period, but Dublin's superior depth and attacking quality eventually told. A crucial goal helped create separation before the Dubs pulled away in the closing stages.

Tailteann Cup Quarter-Finals
Offaly earned their place in the Tailteann Cup semi-finals after overcoming Wexford in a competitive contest. The Faithful County established an early foothold and managed the game well despite Wexford remaining within striking distance throughout. Jack Bryants goal proved to be decisive in guiding his side to the semi-finals.
Wicklow completed an incredible comeback win to defeat Antrim in Belfast. Trailing by 9 points at one stage, goalkeeper Mark Jacksons double saved sparked a comeback that was finished by Dean Healy kicking the winner.
Down were emphatic in their win over Laois to grant their semi-final place. The Mourne men were clinical in attack from the opening whistle and quickly established a commanding lead. Eamon Brown was the star of the Down show, scoring 0-9 in total with 0-5 coming from play.
Fermanagh powered into the last four with a dominant display against Sligo in Enniskillen. The hosts were in complete control from the outset and never allowed Sligo into the contest. Two goals and a relentless scoring rate ensured the game was effectively over long before the final whistle, with Fermanagh recording the biggest winning margin of the weekend.

Derry City produced one of their best performances of the season with a convincing victory over Bohemians at the Ryan McBride Brandywell. Having fell behind through a Harry Vaughn goal, former Bohs player James Clarke equalised before the break. A second from Clarke as well as goals from Kevin Dos Santos and a stunner from Connor Barr ensured the points.
Dundalk maintained their impressive form with a hard-earned away victory over Galway United. The visitors found chances difficult to come by against a disciplined Galway side, with both teams cancelling each other out for long spells. Just as the contest appeared destined for a draw, Dundalk found a breakthrough late on through substitute Dean Wilson.
Shelbourne claimed a significant Dublin derby victory over Shamrock Rovers at Tolka Park. With the game finely poised entering the final stages, Mipo Odubeko produced the decisive moment, finding the net to hand Joey O’Brien’s side a valuable win.
