Donegal produced a superb display in Killarney to hand Kerry a defeat in a fiery encounter at Fitzgerald Stadium. Jim McGuinness’ side controlled large parts of the contest with their pace and direct running causing huge problems, while goals from Ciaran Moore and Shea Malone helped power them to an impressive opening-round victory.
Cork staged a brilliant second-half comeback to overcome Meath in Páirc Uà Chaoimh after a free-flowing and high-scoring encounter. Meath looked in control at stages, but Cork’s sharp shooting and an outstanding individual performance from Steven Sherlock who scored 0-14 to help them to a first-round win.
Galway underlined their championship intentions with a dominant victory over Kildare in Salthill. Padraic Joyce’s side were clinical throughout, with three goals helping them pull clear as they controlled the game from early on and never allowed Kildare back into contention.
Tyrone edged a dramatic battle with Roscommon thanks to a late Mattie Donnelly goal in a contest that swung repeatedly in the closing stages. Roscommon pushed all the way after a spirited comeback, but Tyrone showed their composure at the crucial moment to secure victory in a thrilling finish.

Sligo maintained their strong form with an impressive attacking display against Waterford, running up a huge score in Dungarvan to deepen the home side’s difficult campaign. Despite Waterford raising goal tally, Sligo’s pace and sharp finishing saw them pull clear in the second half for a comfortable victory.
Fermanagh produced a disciplined and energetic performance to overcome Wexford and continue their positive start to the competition. Two well-taken goals helped the Ernesiders take control before they held firm despite a late Wexford push.
Antrim survived a stirring Tipperary comeback after building a commanding advantage through a clinical opening spell. Tipp rallied strongly after the break, but Antrim’s four-goal haul proved decisive.
Longford edged a tight contest with Clare to secure their place in the last 12, holding their nerve late on after Clare threatened a comeback in Pearse Park.
Leitrim produced an impressive second-half turnaround to defeat Carlow after trailing at the interval, with their accuracy from distance helping them pull away down the stretch.
Laois delivered a polished attacking display in Ruislip to comfortably see off London, with Evan O’Carroll starring as the visitors controlled matters throughout.
Offaly continued their strong run of form with an upset win over championship favourites Down, producing a clinical attacking performance that included three goals to power them into the next round.
Wicklow finished strongly to overcome Limerick in Aughrim, hitting the visitors with a decisive burst in the second half to seal progression.

Munster Championship
Cork completed a perfect Munster campaign with a commanding win over Clare in Ennis. Ben O’Connor's side were clinical from the outset, overpowering the Banner with their pace and intensity to finish the round-robin stages unbeaten.
Limerick booked another Munster final appearance after an emphatic victory over Tipperary in Thurles. The Treaty men struck for five goals in a ruthless attacking performance, taking full control after half-time to cruise into the decider.

Leinster Championship
Dublin produced a superb second-half display to dethrone Kilkenny and book their place in the Leinster final for the first time since 2013. After trailing by five points early on, the Dubs stormed back with a relentless finish, holding Kilkenny scoreless for long periods as they sealed a famous victory at Croke Park.
Galway pulled away late on to overcome Wexford in a high-scoring thriller and set up a Leinster final clash with Dublin. Wexford pushed the Tribesmen all the way and struck for three goals, but Galway’s composure and scoring power proved decisive in the closing stages.
Offaly kept their dream summer alive with a dominant win over Kildare, securing a place in the All-Ireland quarter-finals with an emphatic display in Tullamore. In form forward Eoghan Cahill led the charge for his side with 0-13.

Joe McDonagh Cup
Antrim finished their campaign on a high with a convincing win over Carlow, producing a sharp attacking display despite Carlow already having secured their final place.
Down closed out with victory over Westmeath after a strong second-half performance, with 10 of the starting team finding their names on the scoresheet for the home side.
Laois eased past London in Ruislip to confirm their place in the Joe McDonagh Cup final alongside Carlow. Aaron Dunphy was on song as he landed 0-13 to ensure safe passage to the final.

New York continued their remarkable run with an impressive win over Mayo to reach the Nicky Rackard Cup final. A devastating goal return proved crucial as they powered past Mayo in an entertaining semi-final clash.

Derry City were left frustrated on Friday night after being held scoreless by St Patrick’s Athletic despite creating the better chances at the Brandywell. The hosts pushed throughout but were unable to find a breakthrough against a disciplined Saints defence.
Bohemians continued their strong run with an entertaining victory away to Galway United, producing a clinical attacking display to leave Eamonn Deacy Park with all three points after a six-goal thriller.
Shelbourne snatched a dramatic late win against Waterford at Tolka Park, with Sean Boyd striking late in the game to seal victory after Waterford looked set to earn a valuable point on the road.
Monday night saw another frustrating evening for Derry City as they played out a second consecutive scoreless draw, this time against Shelbourne in a flat contest at the Brandywell that drew boos from the home support at full-time.
Shamrock Rovers claimed derby bragging rights at Dalymount Park after a late winner secured victory over Bohemians in an intense Dublin derby. Bohs battled hard throughout, but Rovers found the decisive moment late on to take all three points.
