All-Ireland SFC Final
Mayo finally brought 75 years of heartbreak to an end by defeating defending champions Kerry in a memorable All-Ireland final at Croke Park. After falling seven points behind in the opening quarter, Andy Moran's side showed remarkable composure to battle back before half-time and took control after the interval. Darragh Beirne’s decisive second-half goal capped a brilliant comeback, while Ryan O’Donoghue led the charge with another outstanding display as Mayo’s relentless energy and attacking intent proved enough to dethrone the Kingdom. Kerry mounted a late rally through David and Paudie Clifford, but Mayo held firm in the closing stages to secure one of the most historic victories in the county’s history and lift the Sam Maguire Cup for the first time since 1951.

All-Ireland Semi-finals
Galway booked their place in the All-Ireland final after overcoming Kilkenny in a hard-fought encounter at Croke Park. There was little to separate the sides throughout, with both defences standing firm in a tense battle. A second-half penalty from Carrie Dolan proved to be the decisive moment, giving Galway the edge before they showed great composure in the closing stages to withstand a late Kilkenny fightback.
Cork secured another All-Ireland final appearance after seeing off Tipperary in an entertaining semi-final. The Rebels made the most of their goal chances, striking Tipperary for 2 goals in the first half. Tipperary responded with an impressive second-half rally and cut the deficit to just two points late on, but Cork kept their composure under pressure, adding late scores to pull clear and seal their place in another championship final.

Galway United and Waterford played out a hard-fought goalless draw in testing conditions at a rain-soaked Pearse Stadium. Both sides came close to breaking the deadlock before the interval, with Aaron Bolger denied by a goal-line clearance for Galway, while John Mahon struck the crossbar for the visitors. The heavy pitch made chances harder to come by after the restart, and despite late pressure from both teams, neither could find the decisive breakthrough as the points were shared.
