Dublin Ladies Footballers Feature Live on Opening Day

The Round robin phase of the TG4’s 2019 All-Ireland Ladies Football Championship gets underway this Saturday 13th July with the season’s first live double headers on the Irish Language TV channel. The opening day’s action features Dublin ladies against Waterford and Galway’s clash with Kerry ladies.

TG4’s spread of coverage means that that all four Senior Provincial Champions feature on LIVE TV, before the quarter-finalists are confirmed.

The LGFA Championship draw means that bookies favourites Dublin and Cork ladies could meet in a potential semi-final, should they top their round-robin groups and come safely through the quarter-finals.

Following Galway’s powerpacked display at the weekend in winning over Mayo, they claimed their third Connacht senior title in a row. The full roster of provincial champions for 2019 reads Donegal ladies, Dublin, Cork and Galway.

The Sky Blues, who are chasing 3 in a row, will face Waterford at 3.30pm, with the match venue to be confirmed. That game is top of the bill with TG4 Connacht Champions, Galway playing Kerry at 1.45pm.
