Canada GAA Announce Three-year Partnership with O’Neills Sportswear

Canada GAA are thrilled to announce a three-year partnership agreement with Gaelic games equipment and apparel supplier O’Neills, ahead of the 2019 CGAA County Convention weekend. O’Neills are the largest sportswear manufacturing company in Ireland since being founded in 1918 and are a brand rich in heritage, with an extensive history in Gaelic sports.

O’Neills have an international reputation for providing the highest quality clothing and manufacturing from their own fabric, allowing them to specially design and customise garments in their embroidery and print departments to meet the short delivery dates dictated by the market.

Commenting on the partnership, Sean Harte, Chairperson of Canada GAA said, “Our partnership with O’Neills reinforces our key focus for Canada to be a cultural hub for Gaelic Games. It was incredible to see 8 teams across 4 codes proudly wearing their Canada red O’Neills kit at the World Games this year. The design, style and premium quality of the O’Neills apparel was appreciated by participants and the custom design provided us with a strong and instantly recognisable Canadian presence at the event. We are excited to partner with O’Neills in such a dynamic and unique way.”

James Towell, O’Neills Sales Manager Canada added, “O’Neills are committed to delivering superior quality, high-performance team wear with unbeatable delivery times. This agreement offers strong support for Canada GAA and its affiliated Clubs and we are delighted to partner as the official kit provider.”

O'Neills will also sponsor the CGAA Development Day and AGM weekend from 6-8th December 2019 where county, divisional and club officers from across Canada will come together for GAA development workshops, social events and the county convention.
