Clare hurlers led by Ger Loughnane sparked a hurling revolution in the nineties. The finally broke Biddy Earley’s curse in 1995, returning in 1997. The cry of of Up the Banner resounded as the Clare jersey was once again on proud display in Croker on All-Ireland final day after years in the Munster wilderness.
