Details
Louth GAA Away Jersey
When they won their third All Ireland in 1957 the Louth GAA team were presented with a St Brigid’s cross. This has appeared in the county badge since on every Louth jersey since.
- O’Neills Fact: The earliest recorded inter-county football match took place in 1712 when Louth faced Meath at Slane. That rivalry reached its zenith with Joe Sheridan’s disputed goal in July 2010 at Croke Park. Don’t mention the war.
