We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions below, which
you may find useful. If you have any concerns about the security

How Secure are You?
As soon as you enter the order process, every bit of information
that is transferred between you and us is encrypted using powerful
encryption algorhythms. So even if someone could intercept the data
over the internet, there is not a thing they could do with it. Your
details are safer with Internet shopping that with traditional mail
or telephone shopping!
How can I tell if the web site is a secure one?
It is easy to determine if your connection is secure; on your browser
you wil notice a picture of a small padlock - this normally appears
right at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes this padlock will not
appear, even though you are secure - to double check this, you can
right click on the page and select 'properties' or 'view frame info'
from the list which will tell you whether you are secure or not.
Also look out for the sign of a secure web page, which can be identified
by the URL (the web site address). A standard page will begin with
'http://'. A secure web page will begin with the URL 'https://'
denoting that the merchant is using a secure server for the transaction
of data.
How does Encryption work?
All credit card details are encrypted using VeriSign 40bit SSL (Secure
Sockets Layer) Software. When you establish a secure connection,
the downloaded web site sends a digital certificate to your web
browser. When the certificate arrives, it contains a public key,
which functions as a one-way encryption device. The browser then
uses this key to scramble your personal data (Credit Card Information)
before sending it over the Internet. Information encrypted with
the public key cannot be decrypted without the corresponding private
key, which only the merchant has. Without this exclusive, private
key, your personal information cannot be read
What else can I do to ensure my details remain safe?
The second way to ensure you have a secure connection is to look
for either the VeriSign logo or RSA Data Security logo and only
purchase from merchants you know and trust. Here again, the digital
certificate is important. In addition to encrypting the data you
send over the Internet, the certificate can be used to confirm and
authenticate the identity of a web site's owner (in this case, the
merchant). Because digital certificates act as electronic signatures
they cannot be forged, you can be certain the connection is secure
if either RSA DATA SECURITY INC. or VeriSign Inc has issued the
certificate.
Who are VerSign?
VeriSign, Inc. is the leading provider of digital authentication
services and products for electronic commerce and other forms of
secure communications. For more information on VeriSign please visit
their web site at http://www.verisign.com.
For any customer purchasing adult clothing and souvenirs inside
Europe, VAT is included at the standard UK rate of 15%. Childs
clothing is exempt from VAT in the UK is therefore charged at 0%
thus no tax is added in the price quoted by O’Neills.
For any customers purchasing outside the European Union, all purchasers
are exempt of UK VAT and O’Neills do not charge VAT. Products
are shown inclusive of VAT.
Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches
its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance
must be bourne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges
and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely
from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs
office for further information.
You may return any item within 14 days in its original condition
for a refund of the price you paid for the item.
To return an item, please include the merchandise with a completed
returns slip. Please allow up to 14 working days for this to be
processed.

If you require an exchange our returns department will be happy
to process this for you. Please include written details on the returns
slip with you return code.

Defective Items:
If the item is faulty, all UK customers please contact Customer
Services on – all other countries.
Overseas customers are asked to return the defective item(s) including
both the merchandise and the delivery slip by a recorded delivery
service, as we cannot be held responsible for goods not returned.
O’Neills will refund you the cost of reasonable return shipping
charges if you include a receipt.
Please note the following exceptions to this policy:
1. Items that have been customised e.g. shirt printing, cannot be
exchanged or refunded unless the product or material is faulty.
2. All return and re-shipping charges are the Customer's liability.
3. We will refund shipping costs if there is a fault with the product.
However, we cannot accept responsibility for return or re-shipping
costs incurred when returning non-faulty items.
Whilst every effort is taken to ensure all items listed on our website
are always in stock, occasionally some items will be temporarily
out of supply.
Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand we will need
to re-order from our suppliers. If this is the case then the number
of days that this process will take will be quoted on the product
details page. For example "Available within 7 days"
If an item is out of stock on our web site, and we cannot get any
more stock, we will generally remove the item from sale. However,
if there is an item you are really trying to get hold of, email
us at Customer Services with the details of the item you wish to
purchase and we will do our best to try and get it for you.
Although we try to get all our orders despatched on the day of order,
this may not always be possible, for the following reasons:
• Products on Pre-Order or Products that are not in stock
at the time of ordering
• Credit Card Checks - sometimes we may need to make additional
checks on your credit card
• Shirts with additional name, numbering and badges added
may take an extra few days to despatch.

What are Gift Vouchers?
Gift Vouchers are a great way of sending somebody an instant gift. The voucher can be used to purchase any of the products featured on oneills.com. The vouchers can’t be redeemed in any of our shops.
How do Gift Vouchers work?
Oneills.com Gift Vouchers are sent to the recipient via email. The vouchers contain a unique code which is entered at the checkout to pay or part pay for your purchase.
Gift Vouchers can be sent directly to any person with an email address. Alternatively you can send the Gift Voucher to your own email address, allowing you to print it out and hand it to the recipient personally.
If you receive a Gift Voucher, make sure you save the email or keep a record of the code to enable you to redeem it.

How are the vouchers delivered to the recipient?
The vouchers can only be sent to someone who has a valid email address. The voucher will contain a unique code which can be entered at the checkout stage to pay or part pay for the product.
Can I print the voucher off and give it to someone as a present or forward the voucher email?
Yes, the vouchers are transferable. The voucher however can only be claimed online at Oneills.com and by someone who has a valid email address.
What denominations can I buy Gift Vouchers in?
Vouchers are available from £5.00 to £100
Can I cancel a Gift Voucher I’ve bought?
When you buy a Gift Voucher you have a cool-off period of half an hour in which to cancel the order if you have changed your mind. During the half-hour cool-off period you may cancel an order or change the recipient and we will refund the money to your card.

How do I redeem a Gift Voucher that I’ve received?
It’s simple to redeem a Gift Voucher, which can be done during the checkout process. Add the product(s) you want to your shopping basket by pressing the “Buy” button. Click “View basket” when you are finished shopping and you will be presented with an option to enter a promotional code. Enter your code here and this will advise you of how much you will have to pay on your purchase.
What products can I redeem Gift Vouchers on?
Gift Vouchers can be redeemed on any of the products that are listed on O’Neills.com
Can the voucher being used be redeemed against more than one product in the same purchase?
Yes, you can redeem the Gift Voucher against more than one product.
What are the expiry dates on the vouchers?
The expiry date will be included on the voucher. All gift vouchers will expire after one year.
What happens if the Gift Voucher value is higher than the price of the product(s) I’m buying? Do I get "change?"
If you don’t use the full value of the gift voucher when purchasing an item, we will send you another voucher making up the difference.
What happens if the value of the Gift Voucher I have received is lower than the price of the product(s) I’m buying?
The remaining balance can be paid through credit/debit card.

Can I obtain a refund on a Gift Voucher I’ve received?
Refunds can only be obtained on gift vouchers one hour after purchase.
What can I do if I’ve forgotten to apply a Gift Voucher I have, to an order I have already placed?
Unfortunately, you can’t amend this order and will have to use the gift voucher with your next order.
If I cancel an order which was paid for using a Gift Voucher (either in full or in part) what happens?
You will be sent a new gift voucher for the same amount as the previous one.
Can I use a promotional "Discount Voucher" I have at the same time as a Gift Voucher?
No you can’t use a gift voucher in conjunction with another discount voucher.
- These conditions apply to Gift Vouchers which have been purchased from Oneills.com.
- Gift Vouchers have a claim code with an 8 digit combination of letters and numbers and can only be redeemed at Oneills.com on any purchase.
- If the value of an order exceeds the value of the voucher the balance must be paid by either credit/debit card.
- If the full amount of the voucher is not redeemed, the balance will be given by way of a new voucher. Gift Voucher balances and refunds are also subject to these terms and conditions and are additionally not assignable or transferable.
- Gift Vouchers cannot be used to buy further Gift Vouchers.
- It’s only possible to redeem one Gift Voucher against an order; it is also not possible to combine the use of Gift Vouchers with Promotional and Discount Vouchers.
- Gift Vouchers and unused portions expire one year from the date of issue of the original Gift Voucher.
